Welcome to NickelodeonFreakz!

I’m sorry everyone, I just need to vent over The Troop.

Nickelodeon is so sickening it’s not even funny. I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, The Troop is the most underrated show on all of Nickelodeon, it’s so sad that all that time the actors spent learning lines and rehearsing or filiming probably at 7 in the morning or at 11 pm all just go to waste in those last seven or so episode that you Nickelodeon decided to erase from the earth. How could all of you haters say it was a terrible show if you never followed through with it? If any of you out there have the nerve to say the acting on the show was bad, you’d be wrong. The Troop has some of the best acting on all of Nick’s shows. I actually don’t even want to consider it being a Nick show because if you are going to treat it like shit then obviously it doesn’t deserve to be called a Nickelodeon show. The plot was so unique for the show, doesn’t it get sickening to see a bunch of “hot” guys or slutty girls walk around like they are tough shit, (This includes Disney shows as well). I know this bugs me, how can most kids relate to someone who only aspires to get famous or chases around girls or guys all day. It’s ridiculous, the vast majority of kid shows focus on dating and I’m sick of it. I remember watching some season 1 episode and season 2 episodes of The Troop and dating would never be brought up, that’s what I like, something different. No, it’s not iCarly or VicTORIous, but it was worth watching, I laughed when I thought things were funny and there was not a laugh track running and laughing after every other line. If you took a look and realize The Troop doesn’t put forth so much effort to make you laugh it naturally happens, other shows when things are supposed to be funny, they are not and still an annoying laugh track runs. Lastly, you could relate to the characters and the situations they went through. Hayley wanting to be perfect and have everyone like her? Felix and his bullying issues? Jake and his sister, remember that episode with the dragon, it showed a good brother and sister bond between Jake and Phoebe? Aren’t these things we normal human beings could face in their life, I think so. Another show that does a good job of this is House of Anubis, House of Anubis and The Troop are two entirely different shows, but they both show that even with teens fighting supernatural monsters or teens solving an ancient mystery, there are still everyday issues that the kids have to face. So before you decide to judge The Troop or any show that might not be the most popular, why don’t you just park your but down and watch an episode, you just might change your thoughts about it.
